Kelis Kaleopa’a

Kelis Kaleopa’a, a member of  Waikiki’s “The Grom Squad”, is one of a rising crop of immensely talented young Hawaiian’s bringing true island style to the world of international women’s longboarding. “My whole family longboards, so I do too! I like to shortboard for fun too though. My favorite thing about longboarding is the feeling of flying while you’re on the nose.”

Kaleopa’a is a goofyfooter, whose mother Malia, attributes her effortless style to her father.

Kelis is the youngest person ever to claim of the Duct Tape Invitational in Huntington Beach in 2019 and she also won the Mexi Log Fest the year before in Playa Saladita.

Kaleopa’a was prominently featured in Surfer magazine’s recent article “The Kids of Queens”.

On February 24th 2020, Kelis won the Noosa Longboard Open in Queensland, Austrailia.
